Case Study

Yoshidrops (Internet Based Project)
The Client
Yoshidrops gives independent music artists a way to sell their work directly to fans through NFTs, cutting out the usual layers between artist and listener. Making that work at real volume, without wrecking the NFT ecosystem it runs on, needed serious infrastructure and marketing behind it.
The Challenge
Beyond the legal pressure that comes with challenging how larger labels operate, the technical hurdles were real:
- Producing over a million NFTs in 24 hours without harming the broader NFT ecosystem.
- Building direct-to-consumer sales infrastructure from scratch.
- Limited reach to actually get new artists in front of an audience.
- Aligning the technology and marketing with the standards of a high-level A&R representative involved in the project.
What We Did
404 Network Ninjas worked alongside a team of specialists to build Yoshidrops’ platform:
- Built a system capable of producing over a million NFTs in 24 hours while minimizing environmental impact.
- Developed the direct-to-consumer sales infrastructure that lets artists sell and get paid directly.
- Designed targeted ad campaigns to get new artists real visibility.
- Worked directly with a high-level A&R representative to keep the platform aligned with real industry standards, not just what sounded good on paper.
The Result
Yoshidrops can produce NFTs at real volume without disrupting the ecosystem it depends on, gives artists a direct path to revenue instead of routing through a label, and reaches new audiences through the ad campaigns built around it.
